Originally a general of the Shang dynasty guarding the palace, he rebelled and left Zhaoge to protect the crown prince, seized the Wind-Calming Pearl at Pan River, then submitted to King Wu of Zhou, and ultimately died when breaking the Wind Roar Formation.
