A general under Huang Feihu and his sworn brother, once followed Bi Gan. When Huang Feihu was framed, he devised a plan to provoke him into rebellion and assisted him in escaping through the passes to defect to Zhou. He participated in many raids and sieges during the Zhou army's campaigns, and was captured while rescuing Feihu.
