Third son of Li Jing of Chentang Pass, reincarnation of the Spirit Pearl, apprenticed to Taiyi Zhenren. Because he caused havoc in the sea, killed a dragon, and beat to death a disciple of Shiji, he cut open his belly, scooped out his guts, and returned his body to his parents. Later he was reborn from a lotus flower, descended the mountain to help Zhou overthrow Shang, and finally attained sainthood with his mortal body.
